This week I began to introduce the concept of voice threads to my class. There was much excitement throughout the class and my students were eager for more. Below are my observations for week 6:
What have you learned so far that you can apply in your instructional practice?
I have learned that when challenged, my little students can accomplish anything! Using technology has excited them and they are eager to learn more.
Based on the NETS-T, what new learning goals will you set for yourself?
Based on the NETS-T, I would like to learn more about different digital tools that I can use to communicate with my students and parents of my students. This will allow my students to use technology for real world things.
What learning approaches will you try next time to improve your learning?
Voice threads are very new to my students so it was very exciting for them to be using a microphone with the computer for a change. The lesson went well, and I was thankful that I decided to break them up into small groups.
