DEAR PARENTS:

So, sorry about Tues & Wed homework.  I had after-school activities and/or meetings getting ready for the Christmas Fair and worked until 8pm each night preparing.  Had no time to do the homework blog.

Tuesday homework was:
Y5 ENGLISH: 20 pictographs, Y5 MATH: wkbk p.18-84 and study "math English" for Quiz tomorrow (I didn't write this on the board, but I told the students).
Y6 ENGLISH: 10 pictographs, Y6 MATH:  make sure wkbk is up-to-date, and study "math English" for QUiZ, Y6 SCI:  Study for Test

Wednesday homework was:
Y5 ENGLISH: read p.78 in text and list the biomes mentioned. & Study for Spelling Test
Y6 ENGLISH:  practice reading aloud (for English speaking test)
Y5/6 MATH:  write division tables (from 2's to 6's)
Y5/6 S.O.S.E.:  do a current event (answer the questions about a news event)

Note:  We did not have time for the Math Quiz or the Spelling Test or the Science Test.  The Math Quiz was held today (Thursday) and the Science Test will be tomorrow) AND the Spelling Test will be tomorrow.  [We've been getting read for the Christmas Fair and the Christmas Concert, which is a lot of work for me!!!!]

Y5&6 MATH:  Study for DIVISION-MATH-FACTS   TEST
